AgfaPhoto APX Pan 400 135/36

AgfaPhoto APX 400 is a black-and-white film with high sensitivity for many photography uses. As a high sensitivity film, APX 400 is good for taking pictures in low light and for capturing fast movements, like in sports and action photography.

APX 400 is available only as 35mm film with 36 photos.

Storage
It is recommended to store undeveloped films in a cool, dry place - and if possible (before and after exposure) in the original packaging. Recommended temperature is between 10°C and 20°C.

Developed negatives should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark place in proper sleeves (for example, made of cellulose, triacetate, or paper [pH 6.5-7.5]).

Exposure
APX 400 has a sensitivity of ISO 400 / 27° (400ASA, 27DIN). You can also expose the film at ISO 320/26° and ISO 800/30°, but the best results are at ISO 400. With other exposures, there may be a loss in grain quality and sharpness. For different exposures, it is good to do test exposures and development to check if the results are good.

Even if the film shows no visible changes when stored dry and cool for a few months, it is best to develop it soon after exposure.

APX 400 can be used with all standard filters. Follow the filter maker’s instructions for necessary exposure adjustments.

APX 400 can be developed in all standard development machines and devices, and with many developers.
